Captain Baleines

Vehicle of emotions...

Cédric BRUN (Captain Baleines) is a passionate sailor above all, "un passeur d'émotions". Partner guide of the National park of Port-Cros, he was the first « High Quality Whale Watching » labelled guide of the Pelagos Sanctuary on the park area.

Cédric navigated from 2011 to 2016 within Beach Tours / XL Cruise company. He introduces his own brand Vertical Horizon in 2017 for the leisure business of his company Even Crew.

A passionate Whale expert

Captain Baleines has extensive knowledge of the tourism and maritime area and the Mediterranean aquatic environment.
He pays particular attention to these wilderness areas, while promoting them among a wider public. His approach is based on careful and responsible wildlife viewing.

Always motivated by a pedagogical approach, Cédric invites his passengers to raise awareness around the fragility of the Mediterranean ecosystem; kids have fun on board while collecting plastic pieces from the sea and complete their excursion with a different vision of the marine environment and its essential preservation.

And photographer...

Animals photo-identification technique elaborates sighting files to track the comings and goings of identified Mediterranean cetaceans and animals. For a few years, Cedric BRUN has specialized in wildlife photography.

He performs this activity with passion and takes more than 10,000 photos per year. Unique moments with cetaceans and other Mediterranean species are thus sometimes captured.

Boat delivering & trainings

Within his firm Even Crew, Cédric BRUN has a Matser mariner certificate and provides with:

boat delivering / shipping and skipping
crew management
training for off shore and coastal boat driving license
boat maintenance...
